Mt. Ogura in Kyoto Saga is famous for its fall foliage.
The Ogura Yamashunju was made while treasuring the feelings of love for the four seasons and kachofugetsu (nature and landscape) of the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu, which was compiled here.
The four seasons in Japan sung in six of the poems in the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu are expressed using small rice puffs in eight flavors. In order to achieve each of these flavors, we repeatedly scrutinized ingredients, manufacturing methods, and flavoring. Select ingredients including domestically grown rice and glutinous rice, Ariake seaweed, and Tamba black soybeans were used and carefully baked.Savor the feelings towards the poems and the atmosphere of the seasons that can be found in each and every item.
